Help me decide! (I realise names not to everyone's taste but I love them all)

I like Bryony.

JanuaryJuniper · 01/11/2015 19:49

Love Juno, it's really great!

Shemozzle · 01/11/2015 20:58

Tabitha and Juno always been on my girls shortlist! Love them both equally. I don't like Bryony. It reminds me of Brian. I think I prefer Tabitha. But my best friend in school was Tabitha so maybe biased. Plus one of my daughters has a 'cat' name so that doesn't bother me. I looked up stats for Juno and it really isn't trendy at the moment so I disagree with a previous poster about it dating.

reuset · 01/11/2015 21:05

Juno is the only one I dislike. One of the popular 'unusual' and very on trend choices within certain circles. Meh

Junosmum · 01/11/2015 21:59

Juno

celtictoast · 01/11/2015 22:24

Bryony or Juno.

Elbelle6 · 01/11/2015 22:46

I love Tabitha and think it's about time we rescued it back from the cats!!

Indole · 01/11/2015 23:08

Tabitha and Juno are lovely.

Bryony is kind of 90s.

CakeRattleandRoll · 02/11/2015 07:00

Love Tabitha, really wanted it for DD but DH vetoed. I don't have a problem with the 'cat connection' and would have used nn Tabby.

Prefer Juniper to Juno.

TempsPerdu · 02/11/2015 09:12

Tabitha is gorgeous - this would be my choice. Quite like Juno but think it might be a bit faddy, and Bryony just makes me think of Brian.

handonhip · 02/11/2015 11:07

Tabitha!

timelytess · 02/11/2015 11:12

Tabitha. Its the only real name in your selection. Juno is for a dog and Bryony is for Australians.

timelytess · 02/11/2015 11:13

That sounds disrespectful to Australians! My apologies!

Salene · 02/11/2015 11:15

Tabitha is a upper class name and I associate it with being posh.

I don't associate it with a cat

Juno yes I think if that film

And I just don't like the last night so if I had to pick I would go for Tabitha which will get shortened to tabs as everyone I know with that name is called tabs

timelytess · 02/11/2015 11:22

My rabbit is called Tabitha (because I love the name) and I abbreviate that to Tabby.

Yika · 02/11/2015 11:25

Tabitha is lovely.

Bryony is kind of pretty but sounds like Brian.

Would you consider June?

Indole · 02/11/2015 12:10

I don't see the problem with the cat thing, either! I mean, there are worse things to be associated with.

squoosh · 02/11/2015 12:15

I don't get the cat thing either. Felix has shaken off its cat associations to reach the heights of the mega trendy.

BearGrower · 02/11/2015 13:13

Thanks all, I love Tabitha, and I love cats but just worry about that association - could be a lot worse though!

Yika I do love June but my husband doesn't.

I adore the name Juno and that she was the Goddess of women and family and fertility but that film has officially ruined it for me!

I know a small child called Nelly. To me that screams elephant which is a heck of a lot worse than cat!

NotMeNotYouNotAnyone · 02/11/2015 13:55

Tabitha or Bryony

Vernonon · 02/11/2015 13:57

Juno

customercare · 02/11/2015 13:58

Tabitha is a cat's name and Juno makes me think of a wrestler

MrsCaecilius · 02/11/2015 14:20

LOVE Tabitha. Juno has great, strong classical connotations, but that film puts me off.

Bryony - awful.

welliesandleaves · 02/11/2015 15:24

Tabitha is lovely. I don't see it as a cat's name at all.

Juno always sounds a bit pretentious to me, I don't know why.

I really dislike Bryony. I think it has an ugly sound.
