Much better on a girl than a boy

I'd never come across any until a couple of years ago, and now there's 2 at nursery with DD(3). It's ok.

I like it, quite uncommon but nice.

Automatically makes me think of Lois Lane, but I think it's nice.

I have a 3 year old cousin called Lois, the only one I know. It's a really nice name, people get used to it.

It's lovely -as long as your surname doesn't start with 'T' or it could easily become 'Lowest'.

So have a lois so I'm biased but I think it's a much underused, classic bifocal name. It works for someone feminine or tomboyish and has no posh/common connotations either.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Lois, have done for many years. It's classy and slightly unusual without being too trendy or off the wall. It was on my list for DS 17 years ago but I never got to use it.

Only problem is here in Wales it's pronounced Loyce ( rhymes with Joyce ) which isn't very nice
