DH is set on the name Che for a boy, I don't hate it but I'm not that keen on it either. We can't even agree on the pronunciation! I say it with a hard 'ch' sound e.g. chair, cheese and DH with a soft 'sh' e.g. Shay.

I could probably learn to live with it, maybe even like it but which pronunciation is correct? Help please!

What is wrong with shai? I know a boy and girl called shai (shy). bow wows daughter is called shai also.

Agree with Flora - your names are 100000 times better.

Thanks I feel justified in pushing for my choice of name now.

Not keen on Che as a name. I like all the ones you suggested boys and girls.

I also immediately think Che Guevara

I have 3 children, 2 names I REALLY love (DH also happy with). And one which is fine but DH loved it and I was just ok with it. Now tbh I regret not having pushed for other names. I hate typing this as it sounds awful to say I don't love DCs name but I dont.

Tell your DH to go and wash his head
