Which is your favourite out of these 3?
And I'm open to any other suggestions you think I might like too Smile

Harriet is my favourite, then Emily.

Not too keen on April.

applecatchers36 · 08/05/2015 22:14

Emily

Other suggestions Francesca, Nancy, Henrietta

Harriet is my favourite. Like Emily but it's too popular, prefer Emmeline these days.

getbusyliving · 08/05/2015 22:20

Emily although classic is boring and over popular.

Harriet and April are contrasting names, Harriet being solid, strong and classic, whereas April feels more light and girly imo.

My favourite out of the 3 is Harriet

MartyMaraschino · 08/05/2015 22:39

April

Rhubarbgarden · 09/05/2015 07:06

April. Avril is also pretty.

afink · 09/05/2015 07:54

April by a long way. Gorgeous name.

Harriet
Emily
April

Harriet with nn Hattie.

EggsAreNotFromCows · 09/05/2015 08:28

DS3 would have been Harriet, it's a fabulous name, strong but feminine. Nn Hattie. Love it!

Emily is quite nice.
April I don't like.

MrsGentlyBenevolent · 09/05/2015 11:56

I agree with Rhubarb, Avril is a lovely alternative to April. I love Harriet as well (it's on my 'girls' list). Sorry, find Emily so boring, even if it wasn't a classic and popular, I'd still find it bland.

LittleIda · 09/05/2015 12:53

I love April. Emily also nice and I like Hattie, but less keen on Harriet

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 09/05/2015 13:21

Harriet. My sister is Harriet Grace and has always loved her name. You don't have to have Harry as a nickname either - my sister was always Hatty when she was little and is now Harriet. Emily is ok. April makes me think of Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles - I appreciate that it's probably just me!

FunkyPeacock · 09/05/2015 13:27

Harriet - my favourite by a long way

All nice enough names but the popularity of Emily would put me off

hawkmcqueen · 09/05/2015 13:39

Harriet, it might do your head in meeting another 5 Emilys everywhere you go! It's the most popular name here in northern ireland. I have a James and unfortunately so does everyone else!

MitzyLeFrouf · 09/05/2015 13:40

April.

I really don't understand the current craze for Harriet. It's so fusty.

NickiFury · 09/05/2015 14:01

Harriet.

PaperdollCartoon · 09/05/2015 14:55

My name is Harriet! Yes it's a fab name. Means ruler/leader of the house and it's certainly served me well! I was Harri as a child and still to close friends family and always liked that too. It's nice to have an unpopular name, I was never in the same school as another Harriet, and Ive only ever met a couple of others. Emily is a lovely name but they're everywhere, had a friend April at school who was lovely and pretty, also unusual I've never met another

Bluestocking · 09/05/2015 14:56

Emily is lovely. Harriet is OK. April is naff beyond belief.

ralinax294 · 09/05/2015 17:02

April.

Charis1 · 09/05/2015 17:05

April only for a baby born in April obviously!

MitzyLeFrouf · 09/05/2015 17:12

It's not obvious to me. A baby could be named after someone called April.

LouisaB1990 · 09/05/2015 17:16

I love Harriet. It's beautiful
My suggestions
Darcy
Aurora
Gabrielle
Hollie
Larissa

Marshy · 09/05/2015 17:20

My dd is Emily! She would have been a Harriet if she hadn't been an Emily.

She's nearly 20 - it wasn't so popular back then. Lovely name and it really suits her. She's lively, kind, strong and confident. Definitely not weak!

LauraChant · 09/05/2015 17:24

Emily then Harriet then April.
