Hi everyone,

Thought we'd definitely decided on this but now i'm wobbling.
DP loves the name Kit, I like it a lot and like the fact it's not too popular.. but i'm worried that it's too short and can't be changed/shortened/turned into a nickname..
I'm not keen on Christopher so would definitely put Kit on the birth certificate.
My other favourite is Max (Maximillian) but i'm worried it's too popular...
3 syllable surname so a short first name helps to balance it out.
What do you all think? First baby so no siblings to work with. Feeling the pressure of getting this right..!

Not only Cinderella but I can't help but think that 50 shades might push the Christian/Kit combination up a bit.
I really really wanted that combination until it was pointed out :(

I know a baby Kit. Everyone think's he's a girl- which surprised me rather. The general real life consensus is that it's a bit nicknamey and his parents are starting to wish they had gone for somthing longer. They would have used Christian if it hadn't been for the 50 Shades coincidence.

It's the name of my cat

I love it. Really lovely.

Also love Kitty for a girl, but that betrays my love of Tolstoy!
