I really like Axl (spelt that way, for some reason)
Honest opinions?
I'm not sure I can imagine calling a baby Axl but I do love it, especially with our surname as it sounds very rock and roll.

Be kind but honest :p
If we have a girl she will be Tabitha.

Go for it! Too many Sams, Teds, Jacks... Yawn
Nice to hear a name with a bit if personality

MamaLazarou · 07/04/2015 21:51

Axel is a brilliant name.

thatstoast · 07/04/2015 22:01

I don't like Axel but I understand your point about Jack.

Just having a look at where Axel sits on the ONS boys list and some names of roughly the same popularity that I like are Chester, Byron, Trey and Lucien.

I was a big GnR fan and didn't know about the anagram thing!

I like Axel/Axl. It means something like "source of life". I do prefer the traditional spelling though.

Love Beverly Hills Cop (and I am not 40 yet! Angry) but I still don't favour Axl/Axel as a name.

Tabitha otoh is fabulous

IvoryMadonna · 08/04/2015 12:33

Axel and Jack go together very well, come to think of it Grin
