Is it a bit of a marmite name? Ok for a child but not an adult? DC1 has a slightly unusual (never met another one) but not whacky name, it's often a suggestion on these boards, so it's MN approved Smile

Firsttimemum I think it's a fabulous name, enjoy your little Tallulah. It's a shame some people feel the need to be so rude. A simple yes or no would be sufficient.

oh I love Calypso Mrs Marigold, imagine Tallulah Calypso, how cool would that be; I was never brave enough sadly. Also Calypso has that lovely Greek letter in it for the 'ps' sound that looks like a tiny fork.

ahem. I am the proud parent of a now 18 yo Tallulah - and she loves her name! as do DH and I and indeed most people we meet (or at least they say they do).

she stands out, it has to be said... but no one ever forgets her!! if you like it, go for it.
