We are looking for a strong and fairly unusual name for DD (but not too out there). Current ideas are Maxima and Phoenix. Any suggestions along the same lines please?

Athena

Love Athena but DP's family live in another country and wouldn't be able to pronounce it properly Sad

I love Callisto. I know an Andromeda too but in mythology she had a hard time of it.

Maxima is an adjective of comparison, meaning biggest.

Phoenix is Greek for a monstrous/symbolic bird.

Neither were used as first names in Roman or Greek times.
However Maximus was a Roman family name.

Mnemosyne (although maybe a bit out there!)
