Be honest!

I like wren but for a girl, sorry

PinkOboe · 05/12/2014 22:19

And stimpy

LJBB1 · 05/12/2014 22:19

Exactly my worries...

Really like it!

greengagemutantgingermyrtle · 05/12/2014 22:26

And Stumpy.

Sorry Blush

wigglesrock · 05/12/2014 22:26

I'd automatically think of Kevin Bacons character in Footloose.

greengagemutantgingermyrtle · 05/12/2014 22:26

Fuck you autocorrect! *Stimpy

babyfedleaning · 05/12/2014 22:27

Stiiiiiimmmmpy!! sorry

Only1scoop · 05/12/2014 22:28

Noappointmentnecessary · 05/12/2014 22:32

They may add a "t" to ren and call him rent boy?

Wolfiefan · 05/12/2014 22:33

I'm with Only1!

Castlemilk · 05/12/2014 22:37

No, just absolutely nothing to it.

TimelyNameChangey · 05/12/2014 22:40

Another Stimpy here. It also makes me think of Rennies.

I like Joss. Not that this is helpful to you. Also I like Seth.

ClashCityRocker · 05/12/2014 22:41

I straight away think of ren and stimpy...but suspect his own generation wouldn't. Is it short for anything?

scarletforya · 05/12/2014 22:42

Yep, Stimpy.

TsukuruTazaki · 05/12/2014 22:50

Stimpy

Or face cream

Thumbs down here

reynoldsnumber · 05/12/2014 22:55

What about Ruan for a boy?

Cherriesandapples · 05/12/2014 22:57

rent boy....

stretch · 05/12/2014 23:06

I like it.
Kids will find something for all names. Just pick a name you like and be confident about it. Dont tell anyone beforethe birth, just announce, "this is baby xxx"

Delphine31 · 05/12/2014 23:12

Completely at risk of outing my identity here given the rareness of the name, but hey ho...

My dad's name is Reynold. Absolutely everyone calls him Ren.

It's a bit confusing when having to give his name. It often gets written as 'Len' and those that don't do that write it as 'Wren'.

Other than that, I think it's a great name but obviously I'm biased!

StetsonsAreCool · 05/12/2014 23:14

Exactly how babyfedleaning said it, in that voice.

It's the same reason that we've written off George if this one's a boy - Dd is Darcey and I'd forever be singing Sharkey and George...

thatsn0tmyname · 05/12/2014 23:17

I like it but as a nickname for a 'proper' name.

Toucanet · 06/12/2014 01:30

? Renoir? Reynold? Rentokil?

MoreBonkersThanBonkers · 06/12/2014 01:33

It sounds a bit strange to me. Wren for a girl is just about ok but I've never heard of Ren for a boy. I would think it was short for something.

Isn't Ren a brand of toiletries?

redrubyindigo · 06/12/2014 01:34

Errrrmm. No.
