Peter?

Still contemplating names for DS2 due in a few weeks' time.
Have flirted with Oscar (but too popular ), Saul, Torin and Corin..now wondering about Peter. Very unusual at the moment and nice-sounding I think? Hate shortening Pete though.

Any opinions on Peter?

It is DH's name, but I would love it even if it weren't. I like Pete too. Has big advantages of being well known (so not probs with spelling or pronunciation) but not common at the moment.

Not keen but I am a child of the 60's/70's and grew up surrounded by them Hmm

Slang for penis in America too.

Love it. My ds has a biblical name with usually gets shortened, his never has and he's 13, so it's not an absolute given.

Although, I knew one called Petey, which is awful.

Know a baby Peter here but I don't think it's a name that will become overly popular.

I love it.

Lol Blue! Grin

I like Peter. I like Pete too, but not as much as Peter.

I look after a Peter at nursery, he's normally referred to as 'Petey' (p-tea) by staff and his mum and dad!

Wasn't sure about it to start with but it has grown on me
