Reuben or Jude for Elodie's brother?

I thought I'd settled on Jude, but ds is due a week tomorrow and I'm having last minute doubts

Dh and I both like Jude too, I'm just a bit worried he'll get called Judy at school

What do you think sounds best?

We'll Reuben may get called Ruby so what's the better option if the two? I like both but prefer Reuben.

I know, and my friend has a dog called Ruby, but we hoped he'd get Roo, as in "little Roo"

Jude sounds great with your DCs name. and it's so uncommon that it's lovely.. i wanted to call DD Jude if she'd been a boy!!

Jude is great , reuben is awful.

Reuben, I really love this, it's a wonderfully strong name with lots of character, and is my favourite by a long way.

Not at all keen on Jude though.

Detest Reuben, its just a name I seem to irrationally hate. On the other hand I just adore Jude!

I love Jude. Reuben doesn't do much for me although seems to have become hugely popular in the last 18 months or so.

I know lots of Judes and they are all middle-aged women so I'd go for Reuben on that basis!

I know siblings called Reuben and Elodie. Jude doesn't go as nicely with Elodie imo.

I like both. I wouldn't worry which one goes best with Elodie, you should just choose the name you prefer.

I know a Jude called Judy throughout secondary. (Sorry, I know it isn't what you want to hear.)
