Florence, Charlotte, Leila or Freya?

I'm really struggling with a girls names for dc2. We have a one syllable surname so feel it needs to be something longer. DH likes Florence but not sure I love it. Dc1 is called Henry and I'm worried they'll sound like an old married couple!

Which is your favourite from these four?

Charlotte.

My personal order of preference would be Freya, Leila, Charlotte, Florence.
I love the first 3 but have an irrational hatred of Florence. I agree with you that Henry and Florence sounds like an old married couple!
All that said I think Charlotte is the best fit with Henry.

Florence and Charlotte as they are solid square names.

Freya is a bit fey and Leila will be confused with Lyla. I know one whose mum complains of this.

Dd2's name is often guessed at (e.g. Rosa, Rosalind, Rosie? Or Emmeline, Emily?) And though this is not a deal breaker if you love the name, which I do, is something to be considered.

Dd1 has a name that has no variations, starts with a consonant and doesn't end with an a or ie (eg Beatrice, Florence, Meredith, Jane, Tamar) and no one has spelled, pronounced (and very rarely forgotten) her name, marmite though it is.

Freya or Leila. I know so many Charlottes and Florence is not cool at 21.

I don't think Leila and Henry sound quite right together.

Don't like Freya, to me it has a grating sound.

Charlotte or Florence are both lovely.

Charlotte with Florence as a middle name would work very well.

Leila and Florence are my favourites. Although how are you prouncing Leila? I know a Lee-la and I love it that way.
