I'd be grateful on any views on Stanhope for a boy.

Currently expecting DC3. DH dismisses all my name suggestions and says, if it is a boy, it will be one of this three suggestions...

I'm very non-plussed about two of those and hate the third. Might be able to change his Stanley (nn Stan) to Stanhope, like the Newlyn artist.

I'm not usually a fan of surnamey-names and our other DC have more common names.

And I would also be tempted to tell him that no, you are not just going to go with one of his suggestions if it is a boy!
He sounds like a bit of a wanker, sorry!
