Non girly girls names

Am trying to get some inspiration for girls names. I like names that aren't too 'girly' for want of a better word, things that end with 'y' or 'a'.

Names I do like (but have discounted for various reasons) are
Anouk (love but doesn't go with surname)
Harper (but Beckham connection...)
Laurel
Rowan
Bethan

Any suggestions of similar would be appreciated Smile

Thanks for the suggestions - very fast! Robyn isn't a name I had considered but I do like it. I like Sorrel a lot but DH has said he thinks it sounds like 'sorrow'.

How do you pronounce Seren? Is it to rhyme with seven?

Yes, you pronounce Seren like 'seven' with an r. Or if you want an extra welsh lilt to it, ser - ren.

I hate girly names too, at one point Edith was a contender but thankfully i had a boy.

My other strong contender which fits your criteria is Tanith.

Rhubarbgarden · 16/07/2014 20:04

If you like Anouk (I love it) you might also like Noor.
