Giselle. Was vetoed.
DS1 was Fergus, until MIL made a screwed up face and DP vetoed. My boy waited five weeks for a name after that and the one he was given in the end was not even on my final list of 20.
Jacob
Daniel
Rueben
Nathan
Patrick
All names I loved, none of them used.

Zoe was my favourite name ever but DH hated. DD grew up with a Zoe as a role model, told us one day she wished she'd had that name... Spooky ... Over to Dad to explain...

oopsadaisyme · 09/06/2014 13:56

DS2 I really wanted to be a Charlie :( -
Emily and Ava for the girl I was convinced DS2 was going to be :)

MamaDoGood · 09/06/2014 16:07

Stanley.
It's the dogs name instead (it does suit him to be fair!)

bouquetofpencils · 10/06/2014 01:14

Still feel slightly cheated out of Martha for DD but surname would make it too cartoon like :(

Larimarbleu · 10/06/2014 01:19

Mike....
But just as well, as our surname is Hunt
:)

catinbootz · 10/06/2014 01:22

Rufus.

DH vetoed it. And DS2 is red haired.

catinbootz · 10/06/2014 01:24

Oh and DS1 should have been Toby.

But he's a Jacob. He doesn't look like a Jacob. He looks like a Toby. Still annoyed (15 yrs later)

MoominAndMiniMoom · 10/06/2014 02:13

DD was going to have a literary middle name, but ended up with fully Welsh name start to finish Grin so to even it up, if we have another daughter she'll end up something like Bronte Auden Grin

pinkpip100 · 10/06/2014 03:16

No offence, but PLEASE no-one consider Gilbert!!!

CheerfulYank · 20/06/2014 08:03

Still sad I didn't use Rosabelle or Primrose as a mn for DD.

TheScottishPlay · 20/06/2014 08:37

DS would have been Blythe if he had been a girl.
Absolutely love his name though. We hadn't really thought of it until he arrived and it suits him perfectly.

deepbluetr · 20/06/2014 08:48

Tabitha- my OH hated it, but I still love it. What's more our DD ( now 14 ) said she would have loved it too.

Cojmum · 20/06/2014 10:34

Elsie - I love it, OH didn't.

TheKitch · 20/06/2014 10:38

Elijah. We went for v boring traditional English name instead Hmm

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 20/06/2014 10:39

ds1 - got his name, took me the whole pregnancy to persuade H, but ot my own way.

ds2- should have been Jasper or Ryder

dd- should have been India or Phoebe

burgatroyd · 20/06/2014 13:59

Was going to call dd Blythe then mum said it sounded like blight. Argggghhh! That doesn't even make sense!

I'm over the name now only because I love so many of them. Love Teagan and Vera!

Mumzy · 20/06/2014 22:03

Unfortunately I only got into the Greek myths after all my dcs were named
Ds1 would have been Icarus
DD would have been Io
Ds2 = Hercules

Marcipex · 21/06/2014 17:26

DS Alexander, wish I'd stood my ground.

TulipOHare · 21/06/2014 17:37

Ivor. Only thought of it when DS was a few weeks old. Not to everyone's taste I'm sure, but I love it and it would have suited him.

Esther.
