The boy Evelyn is pronounced differently to girl Evelyn - I always have to say in my head first - which is poor seeing as DD has it as middle name

I really don't get this name at all - maybe it's an association thing though as my mums best friend is Evelyn (Eva lyn not ev uh lyn) and, although she's great, I just think of a middle aged woman...also not keen on Eva/Evie..

I like it, it was my grandma's name though so that may have influenced me. She was an Evv-Lynn, not Eve-Lynn.

Too popular. This generations sarah. At one stage one third of the girls in dds class were called a variant of Eve. Drove me bonkers! "Mum can eve come to tea? Fell out with the other eve but blonde eve wanted to play but not Evie. She's too loud. I like Eva though" a aargh that name is full!

I love it (it is DDs middle name). We pronounce it Ev-ah-lyn.
