Interesting that Bina is popular. I love it but MiL really hates it, she sees it as dated and common which I don't get at all.

Nina is not to my taste, but I certainly wouldn't consider it as being dated or common.

I like Nina. It's not too popular, and it's quite quirky and pretty. The only one I know is a beautiful 25 year old who's quite exotic and interesting.

Ignore the MIL. Better still, don't even ask her opinion :)

I've always thought of Erin as being an Irish-American's idea of an Irish name. A bit like Shannon or Colleen.

Plus it reminds me of the soup brand.
