Its a pretty non-descript name so the fields wide open for her to make her own way.

Middleagedmotheroftwo · 26/03/2014 12:48

Regal and serene.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 26/03/2014 12:50

Ha ha, never met a serene Alexandra!

Poughle · 26/03/2014 12:52

Intelligent and energetic.

wonkylegs · 26/03/2014 12:53

I know two Alexandras (Alexs) both a confident & clever. One is my age & a successful engineer. One is 17 and applying to do Law at university.
Both are coincidentally tall. So on that unscientific basis it's a pretty good name & makes you taller than average. Grin

Bowlersarm · 26/03/2014 12:55

Confident and attractive.

Cotherstone · 26/03/2014 12:56

My nearly Alexandra is so not serene... She's definitely more of an Alex than an Alexandr(i)a Grin

It's a good name though (obviously, as we chose it). Classic, everyone knows it, loads of flexibility on shortenings and nicknames but always with the option for a more 'formal' name when they grow up.

Dinosaursareextinct · 26/03/2014 12:57

A bit posh.

JacqueslePeacock · 26/03/2014 13:01

Rather haughty, I think. Regal.

Nocturne123 · 26/03/2014 13:03

Very pretty , sensitive and intelligent !

Mireio · 26/03/2014 15:28

Confident, attractive, sporty and intelligent.

scarletforya · 26/03/2014 15:30

Spanish or Italian is my first thought!

lambbone · 26/03/2014 15:35

My daughter!

Oubliette0292 · 26/03/2014 15:36

The only adult Alexandra I know is a vicar.

HoneyBadgerPersonified · 26/03/2014 15:44

Feisty!

Love this name, can be regal and formal or when shortened tomboyish, girl-next-door, fun. Perfect for career choices.

Would be on my list except I had an ex called Alex so DH has vetoed it.

TheNightIsDark · 26/03/2014 15:51

A pain the bum who is currently chasing a balloon around the living room.

I have one.

It's a lovely name.

TheNightIsDark · 26/03/2014 15:52

Mine is tall too. Definitely not serene and most certainly knows her own mind!

I have a crazy, gorgeous, funny, clever, knows-no-fear 2 yo Alex. I can highly recommend one Grin

alita7 · 26/03/2014 19:23

I'm alex(andra) and I'm certainly not regal... or tall I'm very short actually. Unfortunately DP is refusing to pick 5 words to describe me with. ..

TidyDancer · 26/03/2014 19:25

Beautiful name. I don't know what kind of girl she would be though! The only one I know, however, is lovely, caring and loyal if that helps?!

NigellasDealer · 26/03/2014 19:27

depends if she is an Alex, Alexa, Ola, Lexi or Sandra really.....

Egusta · 26/03/2014 19:28

It is a very elegant name IMO

meditrina · 26/03/2014 19:29

I think it's a fantastic name.

I think it's probably best not to describe the only one I know in RL though.
