...then what boys name might I like? I love lots of girl names but don't love any boy ones, apart from Rory and Fraser, but these have been vetoed :-(

Polly
Harriet
Alice
Rose/Rosa
Clara

Thanks :-)

Elliot

Owen
Ross
Lewis (except he was a horror)
Eden
Caleb
Aaron
Arran (ok but I prefer Aaron)
Pity about Rory and Fraser they are both good

moominsville · 11/03/2014 12:09

Like Milo, but my friend has a dog called this. William is my Ds's middle name.

Forgot to say, as my other DCs have popular names, I fancy something outside the top 100. Nothing too trendy, but nothing too dated, which is why I like Fraser.

Thanks Nocomet. I really like Owen, but surprise surprise, it's just been vetoed! We can't use Elliot or Eden.

Francis (nn Frankie?)
Luka
Reuben
Arlo

All names I like and my dd's name is on your list!

Dovahkiin · 11/03/2014 12:17

Fletcher
Ethan
Rufus

moominsville · 11/03/2014 12:18

Thanks Yangsun. We can't use Francis and Luka, but they are lovely. Not keen on Reuben and I grew up near Harlow, so Arlo reminds me of that!

Lawrence

moominsville · 11/03/2014 12:19

Really like Rufus, but it's awful with our surname!

Why has Rory been vetoed? That's a travesty!

CaipirinhasAllRound · 11/03/2014 12:23

Caspar
Edwin
Edmund
Winston

moominsville · 11/03/2014 12:28

It's really hard as my DH only likes names like Harry and Charlie, which are both lovely, but I fancy something a bit more unusual.

KenAdams, I love Lawrence, but it's my uncle's name.

moominsville · 11/03/2014 12:46

Love Miles, but again, awful with our surname. Euan has been vetoed, of course.

Hmm - why do you keep having children with someone clearly so unreasonable? :o

Finlay
Cormac
Duncan
Niall
Hayden
Harris
Elliot
Andrew

moominsville · 11/03/2014 13:55

Yes Soontobe, that is very true.

One of those on your list is my stubborn dh's name!

Harris is lovely, but we can't have names that end with s, as it does weird things to our surname.

He just told me he likes Seth. I really like it but two of my friends have little Seths.

Think we have similar taste OP not read all replies so sorry if repeating any...

Arthur
Rafe
Wilfred
Henry
Charles
Albert

moominsville · 11/03/2014 14:00

Henry has been my favourite for years but is a very obvious choice with my other dcs names. Perhaps for middle name. Fraser Henry would have been perfect, grrrrhhh!!!

Struan
Stewart
Torin
Nairn
Moray

soontobeslendergirl · 11/03/2014 14:08

If I was a betting woman, I'd guess the other boys were:

Edward
Charles/Charlie
George
Jack

or similar? giving Henry/Harry as an obvious choice?

soontobeslendergirl · 11/03/2014 14:09

...or maybe a Thomas?
