What name's were there always more than one of in your year? I was one of 4 Louise's! Also 3 Georgia's, 3 Lucy's, 2 Emma's, 2 Jessica's, 2 Elizabeth's (and that was at a small all girls school with just 50 girls in the year). I decided at a young age my children would have slightly more unique names as I got fed up of being "Louise M" rather than just "Louise!

I was one of three Megans. There were two Nicoles (one exclusively called Nikki) and a Christina and a Krystyna. Two Katherines, one a Kathy and one a Kate. A Janna and a Jan. Two Jennys, one who insisted everyone call her Zoey for a year. :o

For boys there were two Johns ad two Scotts.

I was born in 1982 and am American.

RoadToTuapeka · 09/03/2014 09:04

I was born in the early 70s...at it's worst the repeat names appeared when I was 11 and in a class of about 30, we had:
Two Becky
Three Nicky
Three Craig
Three Mark

There were inexplicably huge numbers of Nickys throughout the rest of the school too.

1 Joy (who was anything but to be around)

1 Luke
1 Christopher (nn Kit and the coolest guy in the year)

1989/1990. Mine had loads of Sams and Jasons. Fairly varied asides from these though. Also, most girls had the middle name of either Marie or Louise, I noticed!

TheArticFunky · 12/03/2014 15:15

Girls: Kerry, Lisa, Tracey and Sharon.

Boys: Paul, Mark, Stephen, Jason and David.

pommedeterre · 12/03/2014 15:58
