What name's were there always more than one of in your year? I was one of 4 Louise's! Also 3 Georgia's, 3 Lucy's, 2 Emma's, 2 Jessica's, 2 Elizabeth's (and that was at a small all girls school with just 50 girls in the year). I decided at a young age my children would have slightly more unique names as I got fed up of being "Louise M" rather than just "Louise!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Multiples of:

Rachel (5 in one class at one point!)
Charlotte
Elizabeth
Laura
Jennifer/Jenny
Leanne/Leighan/Liane
Alex
Sarah
Emily

Across a year of around 50. All born 90/91. Also a lot of Louise, Jade, Jane, Victoria and Marie for middle names.

Claire/Clare, Lucy, Kerry, Sarah.
Matthew, Jonathan, Chris, Nicholas.

dd1s year group has been full of Joshes and Ryans and Megans and Lauras, dd2s seems to be Sams and Imogens/Isobels/Ellies and Megans.

I was one of 6 (yes six) Sarahs in my year group at primary school (total = 33 children). We had 2 Roberts and 2 Richards, but no other repeat names.

Catherine/Kathryn/Cathryn/Catharine - 5 in one class and another couple in the same year, alongside a couple of Kathleens. Fun for the teechears when names started to be shortened to Cathy/Kathy.

Louise, well it seemed like it was the law for every third girl born between 1965 and 1975 to have Louise as a middle name.

Deborah (never Debra) there were a couple and a couple of Jacquelines, Alisons and Janes.

treaclesoda · 05/04/2014 08:17

in my school year group the names that came up repeatedly were Gillian, Catherine/Kathryn, Lisa, Denise, Caroline. I'm late 30s.

I've never met anyone else with my name, which I hated at school, I so wanted to have a name that someone else had too.

treaclesoda · 05/04/2014 08:20

boys in my year all seemed to be called Steven, David and Paul.
