hello
I have a three year old DD Nancy and am looking for girl / boy names to go with it - grateful for any all suggestions - it seems hard to match - and I didn't think about matching when i chose her name!
Thank you!

Yes, Polly is lovely and as suggested already goes well with Nancy. Very retro!

Sorry all for not getting back - Couldn't see thread and so thought no more replies. Am a bit hapless on mumsnet. Our Nancy was nearly Martha and have gone off it so much since - but I too used to think they went perfectly - may well revisit - love Polly - is Molly too popular? What about Verity?

Will definitely avoid Sid!

We had Nancy on a short list with Marianne (Maggie for short), Harriet and Nico.
Would have had a brother Noah.

Aoife I think Nancy and Martha being linked is prob down to American first lady's? So on that note Hillary!? Grin

pennyapples · 22/02/2014 13:58

Is Hilary maybe a little hard? What do people think if Felicity? I like Jemima!

Wow SP!!!! Thank you, love love love Liesel, very Sound of Music! Bethany is gorgeous - do you have to be Welsh though? Think Samuel is my favourite boys name, find thinking about boys names much harder for some reason, maybe am having a girl!

empress absolutely has to be Peggy.

DH has banned me from calling DD (Ruth) Nancy, and is lucky that "Peggy" was a DS.
