This is kind of along the lines of the unusual names thread, so sorry if it's too similar, but I was surprised to search for a name on mumsnet and found it had not been mentioned on any Baby Names thread. I thought most probably had at least once! So, I am going to correct this now - the name is Hyla (boy). Anyone else have one?

There's a little girl called Justice on the CBeebies "Time For School" programme. Poor kid.

There was a midwife on a news segment about FGM last night who had the wonderful name of Comfort Mohmoh.

Justice isn't any odder than other 'virtue' names like Prudence, Charity, Mercy, Clemency.

Can't recall either of them being mentioned here recently.

Gillian

Gemma and Justin rarely feature.

Doreen, Eileen, Noreen, Arlene, Aileen and Maureen don't get mentioned.

If MumsNet had been around 70 years ago they would be right up there though. Grin

I think there will be a Barry revival. I've heard two separate people in RL mention it.....ok, they did it in a jokey way but i think they secretly liked it. I want there to be a Barry revival. Unsure why. Grin

Btw....wtf is Barry short for....?

squoosh · 06/02/2014 13:54

Barry is just Barry as far as I'm aware.

In 30 years time our grandsons will be called Barry and we'll have to put on our best 'oh that's lovely dear' face whilst inwardly 'shrieking why God, why??????'
