Opinions on our shortlist - Sadie, Sally or Cindy

Just that really. DD2 due in a few weeks and the above names are our shortlist. At the moment I keep rotating as to which is my favourite but thought I'd throw it out there to the mn jury for opinions.

Not interested in other suggestions - it's definitely going to be one of those three!

Not cindy

In like Sally best, Sadie is nice too, not so keen on Cindy, although it is nice enough.

Only like sadie from your list

Sally. Others are ok but prefer Sally.

Cindy - Beale connotations.

Then way down here in a 1970's Texan suburb we have Cindy. She likes daytime TV, perving at the poolboy and popping uppers and downers. Probably best to leave her put for now.

Sadie ,although all 3 are very popular with Labradors where we live .

I like Sally. I even like Cindy, though I suspect most people on here will dislike it. I like it because of a Jesus and Mary Chain song, though I think it's Sindy in the song (which I prefer)!

I hate Sadie, sorry.

Sadie is the best, don't like either of the others at all

Sally is dated and boring and a real middle aged woman name and Cindy is just terrible.

I like Sadie. Sally is ok but I think of it as a name for someone my age (30s), not a baby. Don't like Cindy.

The only Cindy I know uses it as a nickname for Cynthia.Lovely lady though

Sally is frumpy and Cindy is horrible.

I think all those names are really dated. I can't think of anyone under forty with any of those names,

South east , surrounded by Labradors and Goldie's all called Sally ,Cindy ,Molly ,Bella and Max .( there are several of each! )

I love both Sadie and Sally. Wouldn't use Cindy because of the doll.

Ahem My name is Sally and I'm under 30, so we do exist! It's a great name: easy to say, easy to spell and easy to remember. You'd be hard-pressed to find a name that's so universally recognized and yet so rarely used.

That's our thinking YouGrateMyCheese. Really surprised it's getting so many 'dated' comments.

It's used in loads of cool songs too which i like
