My friends think the name Harris is posh. What do you all think?

I also like the Scottish tradition of surnames as first names, why not ??!!

I won't mention the Donald MacDonalds I know although that again, is another tradition in some parts of Scotland

DS2 is called Harris.

I love it. I think some people think it is chavvy- so what? We live in a council flat but he is named for the beautiful place where his father came from and the name always makes us smile.

Not posh. It's an Islamic name (spelt with one r), so that is what I'd think of first.
