Have woken up this morning in love with this name, Dh says its a cow's name. What's your vote? Cute, cow or utterly butterly

Always liked it since reading What Katy Did

I love it know people will say its cow-ish but makes me think of the sister in What Katy Did.

I love the name. I didn't think of clover butter, or is it margarine? It won't be a taunt young children use. How many children know the name of their butter?

Love it. Was on my list for girls. I loved What Katy Did when I was younger, so it makes me think of the books.

I love it (Another What Katy Did fan). DH said cow, and vetoed.

Love the name but unfortunately it's just reminds me of the margarine that my parents have used for years! I think a child called that would get a lot of stick at school to be honest!

Lovely sounding name but I guess I'm just not a fan of plant names, being a Heather myself (too many Scottish weed jokes). Would be better to be named after a more striking flower. Iris (although I always think of eyes), Rose, Violet.

If it's the Cl-sound you like, how about Clara? Still not many around despite the Dr Who effect.

I love it and thought of using it myself as liked the name from what Katy did. Also liked the name Juniper, think that's from the same book.

I love it and really wanted it (like names with a "v" sound in the middle, also loved the character in What Katy Did) but husband objected for same reason as the OP's husband. Also, was foolish enough to discuss names with others before learnt error of my ways and mother in law said,"what - spreads easily?!". Ruined forever for me now.
