Think we've got it down to er, four, and baby is imminent.

Elisabeth (not sure of NN, but guess one will be used. I like Bess, DH does not. 'S' spelling is for convoluted reasons but 'z' vant be used)
Rosanna (Rosie)
Alice
Jessica (too popular?)

She will be sister to Alexandra.

Help MN!!

Elisabeth is lovely. Hope your little lady makes an appearance soon!

I would normally vote Alice, but not with an Alex sister.
So I vote Elisabeth, lots of lovely Nns to be had x

Theonlyoneiknow · 17/12/2013 13:37

Another vote for Elisabeth! Jessica also goes nicely with Alexandra

Rosencrantz · 17/12/2013 14:28

Have you come across Rosianna? Much prettier IMO.

Callistone · 17/12/2013 14:35

Not Alice with an potential Alex - you never know how Alexandra will end up shortened when she is older. Elisabeth is lovely, and so many nn's, you can see what fits - Lizzie, Libby, Beth, Bess, Bessie, Eliza, Lisbet etc.

MarEl · 17/12/2013 14:37

Rosanna. I don't like the spelling of Elisabeth.

NameoftheRose · 17/12/2013 14:41

Rosanna nn Rosa.

TheFutureSupremeRulersMum · 17/12/2013 14:49

I would have said Alice but as you have an Alexandra I'd choose Elisabeth (I like the s spelling)

MummyBeerestCupOfCheerest · 17/12/2013 14:50

Jessica is my vote! Congratulations!

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 17/12/2013 14:50

alice here too but no with an alex.so elisabeth nn betty is nice.

furlinedsheepskinjacket · 17/12/2013 14:51

not not no

TheCrumpetQueen · 17/12/2013 14:52

Alice is lovely. Nickname Ally/Ali

AntsMarching · 17/12/2013 14:53

Elisabeth. Love the spelling, it's softer than with a z.

lostdomain · 17/12/2013 14:55

Love Elisabeth. Lots of possible shorter versions: Lizzie, Liz, Liza, Bess, Beth, Betty - all cute.

I like the other names too, but think Alice is too short coupled with Alexandra. They can squabble over who got the most syllables!

Leeds2 · 17/12/2013 15:06

Would have said Alice, but not with Alexandra. So, Elisabeth.

Elisabeth.

ToffeeJungle · 17/12/2013 15:31

I like Jessica best though think Elisabeth goes better with Alexandra.

Congratulations!!

HoHoHopelessAtNamingBabies · 17/12/2013 17:20

Thank you everyone! DH will be very pleased as Elisabeth is his favourite.

I love the Elisabeth spelling, so that gets my vote Smile

Otherwise I would have suggested Rosa Smile

SantasTessTackle · 17/12/2013 17:25

Elisabeth Smile

Amy106 · 17/12/2013 17:35

Elisabeth is a lovely name.

Claire983 · 20/12/2013 14:17

Love Elisabeth. Not keen on Bess as a nn though, it sounds hefty and there are much nicer nn's for Elisabeth.

thegreylady · 20/12/2013 19:40

Elisabeth Roanna :)

thegreylady · 20/12/2013 19:40
