Think we've got it down to er, four, and baby is imminent.

Elisabeth (not sure of NN, but guess one will be used. I like Bess, DH does not. 'S' spelling is for convoluted reasons but 'z' vant be used)
Rosanna (Rosie)
Alice
Jessica (too popular?)

She will be sister to Alexandra.

Help MN!!

I love Alice and Elisabeth the best. So dainty and elegant.

I love Elise, Elissa, Lissy, Libby, Ellie for Elisabeth. I think Betty sounds a bit old lady and a bit uninspired.

Oops you meant Bess lol. Sorry I am with your hubby on that one.

Sundaedelight · 20/12/2013 20:21

Rosanna

GwendolineMaryLacey · 20/12/2013 20:22

All lovely but agree not Alice with Alex.

I like Bess...

Elisabeth!

Elisabeth, and I think Bess is adorable. :) As for your other options, Alice is lovely but not as a sister to Alexandra, and Jessica and Rosanna both sound a little dated to me.

Love Elisabeth nn bess or bessie.

Alice is my favourite, with Elisabeth second. Not too excited about the other two. I think Rosanna echoes the sound of Alexandra too much. Jessica is too sugary for my taste (though it might sound nice with Alexandra).

I don't like Bess however. Actually, I don't really like any abbreviations of Elizabeth, so I would choose Alice.

I know an Alice and people often mishear the name at first as Alex, so I really really wouldn't use it if you already have an Alex.

Rosanna is my favourite of the others, and I like Rosie for a nn.
