I have a Jasper, the amount of people that have told me they had a cat called Jasper is quite remarkable, so I'm looking for some feline inspiration for the next one arriving 2014... Can be a boys or girls name as we 're keeping it a surprise. Thanks.

My cat was Jasper! Sadly no longer with us.

Other cats we've had have been Fluffy, Misty (and kittens Boris, Lucky and Snowy) and Kipling.

Treso and Bryher.

Have also been the slave of:

Dyson Vacuumus Bagless (aka Dissie)
Shula (Shoo for short which was bad choice as it confused her)
Kipper (she slept a lot)

wetaugust · 10/12/2013 00:07

oops - spelling

Tresco and Bryher

I have a daughter with a cat name. I've found some if these inspirational for future babies. Good idea! Funnily enough, I like human names for pets.

Topaz25 · 12/12/2013 16:22

George, Mary Jane, Michael, Tiger, Tiny, Tufty and Shadow.

MrsDmitriTippensKrushnic · 12/12/2013 16:27

I've had Sunday,Tom, and Cassie (Cassandra) and currently have a Sarah (named by DD) Stepdad had Violet and Daisy which I quite like as people names. Smile

shobby · 12/12/2013 17:06

Currently have 3 ginger toms...
Archie
Max (Maximilian)
Vic

Have had cats called Alf, Gilbert, Bob and Hobbes in the past! My friends tomcats were Reg and Onion....love 'old fashioned' traditional male names for cats!

AngelsWithSilverWings · 12/12/2013 17:11

I have a Ziggy (Stardust) and a (Jean) Genie.

PuppyMonkey · 12/12/2013 17:13

My current cat is called Tilly. Nice baby name. Previous one was Smudge. Not so good for a baby.

DD2 was named after my friend's old cat, Esme.

wlv12 · 15/12/2013 21:03

Emma, Lola, George and Molly.
Hamster is Bart.

MarEl · 16/12/2013 02:33

Chloe... I wanted to name my first DD that, but my cat ended up with it. Grin
