Any views? I like both :)

Charlotte because I love non Lottie

SoonToBeSix · 24/10/2013 20:48

nn not non Grin

almapudden · 24/10/2013 20:48

I like both too! Charlotte is probably more popular but also more classic, imo, and it has more nicknames if that bothers/appeals to you.

hoobypickypicky · 24/10/2013 20:48

Charlotte.

I prefer Lauren, it's fresher somehow. Charlotte is quite a nice classic name but a little dull IMHO.

weneedtotalkaboutkettles · 24/10/2013 20:49

I love Lottie but am not keen on Charlie :) (Mind you Lauren occasionally gets shortened to 'Loz' which I really dislike!)

Charlotte for sure!!!

Lauren seems dated already. Prefer Laura.

weneedtotalkaboutkettles · 24/10/2013 20:51

I'm not really all that keen on Laura; I don't dislike it exactly, but I don't think I can see myself calling my daughter it.

Rtfairy · 24/10/2013 20:56

Charlotte is much lovelier than Lauren in my opinion

looki · 24/10/2013 20:59

Agree with you OP. Laura is a bit meh but is better than Lauren! Has to be Charlotte then :-)

MrsDorcasMuller · 24/10/2013 21:01

Lauren will date I think, Charlotte is more classic

Floggingmolly · 24/10/2013 21:04

Lauren.

SoftSheen · 24/10/2013 21:45

Charlotte

Alisvolatpropiis · 24/10/2013 21:57

Charlotte.

I think Lauren will date.

Noggie · 24/10/2013 22:03

Charlotte Grin

Wishfulmakeupping · 24/10/2013 22:07

I like both. I love the nn lottie so that might swing it for me. Lauren is a pretty girls name all Lauren's I know are ultra glam

TallulahBetty · 25/10/2013 20:52

Lauren. I don't get the fuss about Charlotte. I can't stand Lottie Shock

letsgotostonehenge · 25/10/2013 20:57

charlotte

weneedtotalkaboutkettles · 25/10/2013 21:41

Lottie is OK but seems a bit - I don't know, forced?

Idespair · 25/10/2013 21:43

I like Lauren better although both are nice.

usualsuspect · 25/10/2013 21:43

Charlotte.

But not with the nn lottie

usualsuspect · 25/10/2013 21:43

My Charlotte has never been called Lottie.

thenightsky · 25/10/2013 21:45

it's odd, but my Charlotte only got called Lottie at the nursery school stage. Once she went to 'big' school it just sort of died out.

usualsuspect · 25/10/2013 21:46

In fact no one really shortens her name.

shrieklesoda · 25/10/2013 21:47

Charlotte, it's more classic than Lauren. Lauren is ok, but I think it sounds a bit dated.
