Baby names with soft 'o' sound?

Would love to find a unique baby name with soft o sound like Mona or Chloe. Just can't find something that tickles my fancy and only 2 weeks to go! Any ideas??

Thx. Forgot to say girls names only but you got that. Last name has word 'rosa' in it so has to go with that. Ta.

Love Paloma btw but a bit too exotic with last name.

Great list Anjou! I love Posy but tis the name of our dog! Marlo was at top of my list but DH refused as reminded him of that horrible, simpering movie 'Marly and Me' and DH said it ruined the name for him. Damn you Jennifer Aniston...

Well, Posy is a lovely name, OP. At least the dog got to use it! Marlo(w) is very nice. It doesn't make me think of Marley though ... and if it did I would think Bob rather than said simpering movie! God I can't stand Jennifer Anniston either. Harlow or Margot might be a nice compromise? I totally understand that people who live in the SE of England may have some views on using Harlow though! Grin I'm intrigued by your surname. It must be very pretty. Let us know when you get a shortlist!

williaminajetfighter · 22/10/2013 17:43

My last name is 'de la Rosa'. Am outing myself a bit but as you can see quite a tricky name to find a first name for. Thoughts welcome!

Ignoring the surname issue, what names do you like?

If we had an idea of style we could maybe come up with something suitable that didn't necessarily have a soft "o"

A few suggestions:

Astrid de la Rosa
Frances de la Rosa
Gemma de la Rosa
Sophie de la Rosa
Liberty de la Rosa
