Estellita - what do you think?

My DH has suggested Estellita....I'll be honest-I'm not keen but thought I'd give it a fair chance. What do you think?

'ita is normally the affectionate ending, isn't it? It's a bit of a mouthful.

I think it sounds like you've made it up as a cross between Estelle and Lolita, so not good really.

It sounds like 3 names combined to make up a new name. Did he read/hear it somewhere or has he made it up?!

I just think of 'Estrellita Dónde estás' the Spanish version of Twinkle Twinkle little star.

I've fed your comments back to DH-he says he feels like he's been thrown in a pit with some Rottweilers! he is reassessing the name though in light of the comments...I particularly like the cream for itchy private parts!

It sounds like a combination of Estelle, Stella and another name ending in -ita, either one would be nice. Estellita is overdoing it a bit.

Sounds too made up to me. Estella is nice, or Estelle or Stella.

As others have said, Estellita could be a nickname.

I prefer Estellabella.

I prefer Estella. He could call her Estellita as a pet name. I don't think that Estellita would work on an adult.
