Love Wilbur, beware of Phineas, due to the popular cartoon series (although I'd love Phineas, the cartoon character, as a son Grin)

Use Rufus. Please. You love it and who cares that another boy has the same name.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 08/10/2013 13:40

Caspar, Skye and Arlo go really well.

sleepcrisis · 08/10/2013 14:06

I know exactly how you feel, Frigg. A distant - but close - friend has just used my girls name and I just can't bring myself to use it. Like yours, it is not very common so I just couldn't get away with it. I'm devastated!

We have v similar taste in boys names. From your list I love Caspar, Pip, Idris, Asa (Ace - great nn) and Wilbur. I also have on my list Otis and Rudy. Oh and Herbert (herbie or bertie).

Floggingmolly · 08/10/2013 14:09

Oisín or Jude.

UriGHOULer · 08/10/2013 14:12

Oh gosh. It has to be Taliesin. I LOVE that name.

Tally for when he's a baby up to a little schoolboy
Then Supercool Tal for when he's a teenager.
