Tabitha & Jemima

I have always liked both these names. What do they say to you?

Yes, if you know lots of them - the OP asked what the names said to us, didn't she? To me, they are cat names.

Well, just one is. I know no cats called Jemima

Tabitha is good - it can sound like quite a strong, dignified name.

Not keen on Jemima, I'm afraid - I just keep thinking Puddleduck!

Fair enough. Op - to me Tabitha is a strong, biblical name which is classic and not too popular. You will always get the cat comments because people are unimaginative, but If i were you I wouldn't let it stop you using it. It is just a name like any other which some people chose to use it for their pets (It's not tiddles or fluffy FFS) x

Not unimaginative, just know lots of cats called that name. Geez wish I'd never commented now, was a light-hearted comment

Sorry Tallulah I don't mean you, just in general people seem to have the same opinion. Just sticking up for the Tabithas

Haha ok, well of course it's all just opinions isnt it, if we all agreed then all our kids would be called the same 10 names

I think Tabitha is a beautiful name. I don't like Jemima.
