Jemima :)

DaleyBump · 22/08/2013 02:50

I love Harriet, but that may be because when I was wee, Harriet the Spy was one of my favourite films Grin

DaleyBump · 22/08/2013 02:50

And congratulations :)

kiwik · 22/08/2013 03:02

I like all these. Harriet is on my current list, and I'm adding Jemima to it as well.

OrangeBlossom2 · 22/08/2013 07:25

Georgina
Harriet

Jemima

missmapp · 22/08/2013 07:27

Harriet.

Congratulations

gettingtogrips · 22/08/2013 07:55

I think Jemima and Georgina are quite feminine names whereas Harriet is more of a tomboy. But that could just be the Hattie I know!
Congratulations

lljkk · 22/08/2013 08:02

Not Jemima. I vote Harriet.

OverTheFieldsAndFarAway · 22/08/2013 08:05

Harriet.

AcrylicPlexiglass · 22/08/2013 08:10

Harriet.

Mrsindecision · 22/08/2013 08:33

Harriet would be my pick, then Georgina.
I really like the name Jemima, but the negative connotations of the name in North America would concern me enough to avoid using it.

CharlieBoo · 22/08/2013 09:21

Jemima...it's just gorgeous. Harriet far too masculine for my taste.

Lottiedoubtie · 22/08/2013 09:24

I love Jemima (mima), but everyone I know would take the piss.

So it'd be Hariet (Hattiesburg) for me.

Don't like Georgina, sounds ugly to my ears.

Lottiedoubtie · 22/08/2013 09:24

Hattie!! I mean obv, weirdest autocorrect ever!!

AcrylicPlexiglass · 22/08/2013 09:24

They are all feminised versions of male names, aren't they? Harry, George, James.

AcrylicPlexiglass · 22/08/2013 09:25

lol @Hattiesburg!

GwendolineMaryLacey · 22/08/2013 09:27

Harriet :)

Harriet! Lovely.

night1971 · 22/08/2013 10:00

Georgina!

All of them very pretty, solid names though.

QueenoftheHolly · 22/08/2013 10:03

All lovely. My BFF is a Georgie so I clearly like that one!

Really pretty names may steal your list if I ever have a dd

QueenoftheHolly · 22/08/2013 10:04

Out of interest, what are the negative connotations in USA?

QueenoftheHolly · 22/08/2013 10:04

..... Of Jemima I meant to add!

hatsybatsy · 22/08/2013 11:24

Has to be Harriet Blush

I like the fact that it's not too girly - it can age with the girl and is (so far) fairly unusual - dd is the only one in her school.

Jemima I like.

Georgina - not so keen although i do know a Harriet with a sis called Georgina!
