Congratulations!!
Grin

Oooo Idris, totally love it (due to the dish that is Idris Elba).
I think Otis also gos well.
How is Asa pronounced? Think I prefer Asher.

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 07/08/2013 20:06

Asa is Ace-a.

Thanks Grin

ZolaBuddleia · 07/08/2013 20:10

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 07/08/2013 20:10

I think I like Orin though not sure I've heard it before??!

Rafe & Rufus are cool too!

ZingWidge · 07/08/2013 20:14

Otis, Jesse or Rufus

DizzyPurple · 07/08/2013 20:18

Idris. From Ivor the Engine though not Idris Elba! Although I may be showing my age now..

BikeRunSki · 07/08/2013 20:23

Idris and Orin

BikeRunSki · 07/08/2013 20:24

Are you settled on Hebe for a girl then ?

Hassled · 07/08/2013 20:25

Yes, I thought of Idris the Dragon too :o.

I like Rufus and Jesse. Although I think this is the third time in a couple of weeks that I've seen Jesse on a MN baby name thread - it may be about to have a surge in popularity, if that bothers you.

I love the nn Raffi so in that case I'd vote for Rafe.

rainbowfeet · 07/08/2013 20:27

Rafe
Rufus or Jesse for me

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 07/08/2013 20:30

No BikeRunSki I've given up on girls names for a bit Grin

SkinnyDecaffGiraffe · 07/08/2013 20:46

Rufus

shoobidoo · 07/08/2013 20:56

I love Otis! Strong, cool, masculine and quite rarely used!

Asa is a very popular girls name in Scandinavia.

chattychattyboomba · 07/08/2013 21:17

Rufus, Rafe & Otis.
Rufus I would call Roo... I have always wanted a little boy called Roo but would probably be Rueben
Rafe- I prefer Raffi as in Raphael, but that might be a little too ninja turtle for some.
Otis... Haven't heard this name in so long. Not since Milo and Otis (fave childhood film about a cute puppy and kitten).

chattychattyboomba · 07/08/2013 21:20

P.s. my sis has an Asher and a Suvi which I think fit your style... But I might be wrong.
She also has a 3 syllable surname.

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 07/08/2013 21:33

Yes,Rufus would get Ru here too Grin I love the idea of a baby Ru.

We're not bothered by names being girls names else where...DP's name is an American girls name Wink but thanks for the heads up!
