I knew a hungarian girl named Eszter - nice spelling. Although of course, she would have to spell it frequently which is a downside.

fanjodisfunction · 19/07/2013 20:54

Flora or Thora from your list.

soontobeslendergirl · 19/07/2013 21:33

Like the way Flora is Arlo mixed up with an F added :)

My 2nd son uses 4 of the 5 letters of No1 son's name muddled up - never noticed until I was ordering wooden letters for their room doors and found I needed 2 Cs, 2 Rs, 2 As, 2 Is and 1 G :o

Bowlersarm · 19/07/2013 21:38

Arlo and Flora sound different though even though almost same letters

I know of Archie and Charlie in same family which is virtually same letters

soontobeslendergirl · 19/07/2013 21:58

I agree Bowler. I never noticed with my own children until they were 2 and 3 :)

soontobeslendergirl · 19/07/2013 21:59

My other favourite name at the moment is Lorna - which is Arlo plus an L :)

ZingWidge · 19/07/2013 22:06

soontobe

we have a Noah already so Jonah is out as sounding to similar

soontobeslendergirl · 19/07/2013 22:13

Zing, I agree in that case, so I think I'd have a Joseph :) Noah and Joseph don't sound too similar but he could still be Joe as a grown up when it doesn;t really matter if his name sounds similar to his brother.
