Where do you find all these Zing?!

I'm really liking Dulcie Flora and Dulcie Mabel at the moment...even though they are shorter MN's I think they flow well, opinions?

all over the place!

Panna used to be a nn for Anna in Hungary - now it's a name on it's own right.
Wilhelmina is a character in Ugly Betty.
Surina - can't remember, actress I think
Cassandra - history
Pandore -mythology.
and so on
do you want to know any in particular?

if you like Dulcie why don't you go for Dulcinea Flora nn Dulcie? I love that combo

( Dulcinea was Don Qxuiote's love)

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 23/07/2013 23:23

How do you pronounce Dulcinea?

OP posts:
ZingWidge · 23/07/2013 23:34

Dool-see-ne-a

'ne' as in beginning of 'net'
'a' as in the above or anita

ZingWidge · 23/07/2013 23:38

kind of that it rhymes with cinema without the 'm'

not sure which syllable has the stress, but I think it's on the 3rd

so Dulcinea

ZingWidge · 23/07/2013 23:45

actually the stress can be on 2nd syllable
and first syllable is more like Roald Dahl's last name.

best if you research it a bit.
I now said Dulcinea Flora out loud a few times - I think the combination flows nicely and has a good rythym.

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 24/07/2013 06:34

It is pretty, but I think a four syllable first name is a bit much with a double barrelled surname...I prefer Dulcie on its own...perhaps it does need a longer middle name though.

OP posts:
ZingWidge · 24/07/2013 12:25

oh I thought you wanted a 3-4 syllable first name - but read back, and you said that about MNs.

I've run out of ideas. good luck!

will you update your choice?

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 24/07/2013 20:58

Yes I'll update Smile

Thankyou for all your suggestions!
