I like it and I prefer it to Elizabeth.

BlueStarsAtNight · 05/07/2013 23:51

I like it, and think it is way nicer than Elizabeth, which i know most people love but I just find it Dull and a bit ugly.

jessjessjess · 06/07/2013 00:25

I love Emma. Used to be overused but not now.

GW297 · 06/07/2013 00:44

Timeless classic. Suits any age. Beautiful.

squoosh · 06/07/2013 02:46

It's pretty but boring. A solid, 'don't draw any attention to yourself' kind of name.

bugsybill · 06/07/2013 13:24

I like it but sadly it is overused imo.

I like the pattern of the name so also really like Ella, Anna, Hannah.

However they are also overused imo :(

So how about sanna, mella, etta, Lola?

Emma is a nice name. I know it's top 5 in Canada (DH is Canadian) and we know 3 baby/toddler Emmas. Don't know any tiny British ones though.
I like Elizabeth a bit better, but if given a nn like Bess or Betsy. I dislike Liz, so would pick Emma over that.

Lovely

Lovely, strong name.

rockybalboa · 06/07/2013 21:14

Lovely and although I know LOADS born in the 70's/80's, you don't hear it much these days.
