RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 25/06/2013 20:13

Hate Aubrey, sorry.

Snazzywaitingforsummer · 25/06/2013 20:14

I really like Milton.

AllegraLilac · 25/06/2013 21:51

LOVE Augustus!

MrGeresHamster · 25/06/2013 21:52

I got worried there and wondered why no one likes the Milton steriliser stuff. I was just about to sing its praises!!! I would think of that if I heard of a child called Milton, sorry.

I really like Innes though.

Elquota · 25/06/2013 22:09

John Milton - poet
Milton Jones - comedian
Milton Hershey - chocolate company founder

Why not? Smile

niffernaffer · 25/06/2013 22:17

Now I'm confused! Milton seems to be getting a better airing tonight. Maybe it can be done... Hmmm. Thanks all

I like Milton, it's a great name. Who even thinks about sterilising tablets apart from new mums?

50shadesofbrown · 25/06/2013 22:31

LOVE Augustus! Also like:
Branwell
Gilbert
Chester

MultipleMama · 25/06/2013 22:51

My dd is called Aubrey so I'm biased about my love of it haha.

TigOldBitties · 25/06/2013 23:19

Bloody hell, you used Ralph?

Am totally confused that you liked that and then all the names you've listed, said as someone who also used Ralph.

I think Milton makes a bit of a mockery of the poor child, almost sets them up to be a certain kind of person.

Augustus is the best of the bunch.

Foosyerdoos · 25/06/2013 23:22

Love love love Augustus. I think Gus is a fabby nn. (i also like Gussie as am a Wodehouse fan)

Foosyerdoos · 25/06/2013 23:24

I also like Inness ( I also thought Milton was ok)

cece · 25/06/2013 23:29

Innes - is it a boys name as it sounds a bit girly to me
Augustus - gloop
Aubrey - this is the joke name we used for dc2 whilst pg so no
Bertram - really???

Sorry not keen on any of them. Nor Milton either.

I have a John though so think we might have very different taste in names. Although we have never met another child with his name if you want something unusual. Smile

Slavetothechild · 25/06/2013 23:31

Milton is the best of these names ....you like it , go for it :)
