Baby no-name! Please help!

Hi all,

We are trying to pick a name for our new baby daughter and are rapidly running out of time.

We have narrowed it down to the list below but hubby and I do not agree.

He likes
Skye, Eden, Morgan, Amber and Ruby and I like Thea, Skye, Arabella and Beatrix.

The only crossover we have is Skye but it is not our favourite of each of our respective lists.

I may eventually post our list of 'dismissed' names but it is over 500 names long so it will not be today.

The criteria is that the name must be quite simple and easy to spell as we are fine with "that is unusual", but want to avoid "how do you spell that?"throughout their lives.

We already have an Oliver and a Leila and our surname starts with "A" so that migh be a consideration.

Any help would be appreciated.

We only have until 16th to name her so a rapid response would avoid "baby X" on the birth certificate.

HELP HELP HELP!!!

Skye
Eden
Morgan
Amber
Ruby
Thea
Skye
Arabella

If you both like Skye then go for that, but of you're asking then the nicest ones from your list are Arabella and Thea IMO.
Few more suggestions
Ivy
Edith
Elsie
Victoria
Someone else said Primrose I think that is beautiful too
Good luck and as another poster said see what suits her :)

Ruby is too popular at the moment. There are three in one reception class at school.

So it's ok to name a child after a stone, but not a place?

No it's OK to name a child after something precious.

But Skye and Eden are apparently beautiful places.

What an odd, arbitrary measure of what's ok as a name Confused

Random.

I thought of another for my F list - Flavia.
