But can't for any reason. Or you don't want to use it because it's a celebrity (or celebrity baby name).

I like harper and elton.

Harper
Harlow
Bronx
Hendrix (DP has put this on the list though)

TidyDancer · 06/05/2013 18:57

Yes to Harper. I love that name.

I also really like Mallory. I don't think I'd ever use it anyway, but couldn't because of the meaning (unlucky) and the Natural Born Killers connection!

exoticfruits · 06/05/2013 19:09

I can't think of a single one! Not unless they have something sensible like Elizabeth.

exoticfruits · 06/05/2013 19:09

Can't stand Harper.

PrincessOfChina · 06/05/2013 19:12

Harper here too.

MortifiedAdams · 06/05/2013 19:15

Olive (Drew Barrymores DD), as im just too damn scared. Considered Liv for DD, with no longer version but got the fear Grin I would love love to use Olive for DD2 and use nn Liv.

Huckleberry (Bear Grylls son) has an awesome name but I live in a sea of Jacob, Ella, Sam names so he would stand out like a sore thumb.

Tiger lilly

AKissIsNotAContract · 06/05/2013 19:16

Marnie. I might use Marina with Marnie as NN if I ever have a girl.

recall · 06/05/2013 19:19

tidydancer I was going to call my son Mallory after George Mallory, but someone said it was sinister and could be unlucky Sad

OrangeFootedScrubfowl · 06/05/2013 19:22

DS was going to be Marnie if he had been a girl.

I bet thingummybob stole the name from my thread on here.

ZolaBuddleia · 06/05/2013 19:55

Which sleb has a Marnie?

TidyDancer · 06/05/2013 20:09

Recall - yeah, it's Juliette Lewis's character in NBK. That doesn't bother me as much as the unlucky thing. :(

TidyDancer · 06/05/2013 20:09

Zola - Lily Allen. Ethel and Marnie.

libertyflip · 06/05/2013 20:11

Maddox

180209cooper · 06/05/2013 20:12

Love Harper for a boy but my husband says it would remind everyone of beck hams girl, do you all agree?

UpTheFRIGGinDuff · 06/05/2013 20:14

Huckleberry - love it,couldn't use it though, even I'm not that brave.

ZolaBuddleia · 06/05/2013 21:15

Ah, I love Marnie.

MrsHuxtable · 06/05/2013 22:07

Not a celebrity baby name as such but I love Phillipa/Pippa and feel that it's been ruined.

Mamuss · 06/05/2013 22:14

I love Harper... And I'm a Marnie and happy so many like my name Smile

ZolaBuddleia · 07/05/2013 08:34

Brief hijack: Mamuss, are you Marnie on your BC?

Mamuss · 07/05/2013 19:45

No I'm Hermione. Marnie for short Smile

SleepyCatOnTheMat · 07/05/2013 19:58

Tamsin Outhwaite also has a Marnie, in addition to a Florence.

I like Marlowe, a la Sienna Miller.

SleepyCatOnTheMat · 07/05/2013 20:03

P.S. Yes, I think Harper is unusable now unless it's a family name.

NTMummy059 · 07/05/2013 20:49

Love Harper! Think everyone would just assume it's 'copying' the Beckhams though :(

lovesmileandlaugh · 07/05/2013 21:21

I loved Geri Halliwells Bluebell. She born days after my daughter, and it was absolutely perfect as there were in fact bluebells everywhere!
