But can't for any reason. Or you don't want to use it because it's a celebrity (or celebrity baby name).

I like harper and elton.

I childmind a Marnie Rose- she is very special and was born eighteen months before Lily Allen's!

Startail · 08/05/2013 00:27

But blue bell was a goldfish.

No I haven't the foggiest idea why as aged about 8, I thought that was a sensible name for a goldfish.

GeorgianMumto5 · 08/05/2013 00:35

Apple. There, I said it.

Olive is a lovely name and you should use out, poster who wants to.

GeorgianMumto5 · 08/05/2013 00:37

I don't think of Olive as a celeb name. I used to know an old lady called Olive. She had a purple rinse and a tendency to get the giggles in church meetings. That's who I associate the name with.

GeorgianMumto5 · 08/05/2013 00:37

Out = it. Sorry.

PinkApple86 · 08/05/2013 12:49

Sunday Rose (Nicole Kidman I think) but a bit strange if not born on a Sunday. Grin

TobyLerone · 08/05/2013 12:52

Elvis.

lancaster · 08/05/2013 12:55

Ramona

TooTiredToBeCreative · 08/05/2013 12:55

I love harper but as I am having a dd after 3 ds's I think the beckham reference would be too much!

UnrequitedSkink · 08/05/2013 17:45

Honeysuckle (as in Honeysuckle Weekes). So far OTT as to be untrue but a gorgeous name anyway. And Rafferty or Raphael for a boy. Both got vetoed by my staid and boring DH.

UnrequitedSkink · 08/05/2013 17:45

I do know a Harper though, she's 7 and gorgeous.

Rhubarbgarden · 08/05/2013 20:58

Bluebell. Sodding Geri Halliwell.

3boysgirlontheway · 09/05/2013 04:50

Harper, it was on my list and I crossed it off when Harper 7 was born. Hattie, Tori Spelling used it while I was pregnant and hormonally decided to remove it from my list of possibilities.

forgetmenots · 09/05/2013 07:41

Like Harper too but would never have used it. Like Roman which a few slebs have used, and Dashiell.

Littlehousesomewhere · 09/05/2013 10:10

I'm surprised people really like Harper, will probably become very popular. I can't get past the "harping on" association.

I like huckleberry and would love to use it as a middle name.

I also quite like suri but couldn't use it as its just too unusual.

I dont even know who baby olive is?

I like violet but worry it sounds like violent.

Littlehousesomewhere · 09/05/2013 10:11

I do like marnie rose as well.

notso · 09/05/2013 10:27

I love Harper and Winston.

I would've used Olive, Violet or Ramona but DH vetoed them.

notso · 09/05/2013 10:30

I also quite like cutesy middle names like Jamie Olivers Boo, Honey, Rainbow and Bear but I would never use them.

SPsCliffingAllOverMN · 09/05/2013 10:33

My nanna was called Marnie. Nn for Marjorie.

Moonunit has a ring to it

MolotovCocktail · 09/05/2013 11:00

Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily; Peaches Honeyblossom - OMG, I love those names!

All of Paula Yates' daughters have wackily beautiful names :-) Let's notforget Little Pixie and Fifi Trixibelle (that's right, isn't it?) Grin

Ezza1 · 10/05/2013 12:24

I love Scout.

Wouldntyouliketoknow · 11/05/2013 19:01

I also like Harper, and love Nahla (Halle Berry's daughter)

Exhaustipated · 11/05/2013 19:13

I love Ramona and Gloria, Maggie Gyllenthaal's (sp?) daughters. DH wasn't into Gloria, and I went off Ramona although it was very nearly DD's name.

Just couldn't get over the 'moaner' sound.

Have to say I pretty strongly dislike Harper.

BoyMeetsWorld · 12/05/2013 07:42

I love Bluebell too.

& Phaedra, although I know everyone says its awful...I liked it before PG used it

Jayne266 · 12/05/2013 20:09

For some reason this thread has gone from my I'm on list.
