Just thinking we're nearly into May so what names given to newborns have you heard recently? Let spot any trends.

I only know two babies born this year! Finlay and Esme ( Es-meeee).

I am quite surprised to see DD's name (Francesca) on this thread, Most people who are honest with me dislike this name so I'm pleased to see some other people must like it!

This thread is making me compose a list of possible baby names and I don't even want another baby.....or do I??Grin

I'm slightly out of the newborn zone, so the only name I can offer up is Rebecca, which I think is beautifully classic.

Neither DS's (4), nor DD's (2) names have been mentioned, but my own name is riddled throughout the thread.

excellent! noone has mentioned DS2s name yet..... though judging by how many times DS1s name has been mentioned DS2's name will be really really popular in about 2016! :-(

My name's on here three times, DH's about 15 times! But DS is not here and neither are any of our shortlisted names for DC2.

Surprised to have only seen our favourite name for DS1 mentioned once - and not in its full form either. Think we may get a few raised eyebrows when it's announced!

Louis
Freddie
Esme
Robin
Stella
Fraser

brightyoungthing our really good friends have a 1 year old Francesca and DH and I love the name too. We might have gone for Francis ourselves but couldn't really have two Frankies - shame!
