I like Francesca! Don't like that spelling of Robyn (or the other one, Robin, to be honest, but it's better I think, if spelled Robin that would be my second choice of the girls' names).

I like Benedict. I like Michael also.

Hope your last week goes well!

ladymia · 15/03/2013 10:50

I like Francesca and Jonah

Yama · 15/03/2013 10:51

Francesca and either Benedict or Michael for me.

poppydaisy · 15/03/2013 10:51

I like Francesca, Louisa, Benedict (but may end up as Ben...) and Tristan.

Or how about these classic but not too popular names:
Helena
Charlotte
Quentin
Jonathan

KeatsiePie · 15/03/2013 10:52

I LOVE the name Charlotte.

chocolatecheesecake · 15/03/2013 10:55

Love Robin for a boy but not for a girl. Louisa or Belinda for a girl.

Lulabellarama · 15/03/2013 11:02

I like Francesca, but not sure what nn you'd end up with?
Louisa is lovely

You have both my boys names on your second list and one that DH vetoed, so I'll go for that one. Tristan

MyLittleDiva · 15/03/2013 11:05

Robyn or Theo

3rdnparty · 15/03/2013 11:13

Francesca out of your girls list but would think what shortening you prefer if at all as could be fran/franky
Theo for a boy- would you have Theodore ? As then could have nn teddy/ed or theo..

FriggFRIGG · 15/03/2013 12:23

Robin,for either gender.

MrsJohnDeere · 15/03/2013 12:26

Robin and Robyn

TenthMuse · 15/03/2013 14:07

Francesca is lovely, but I really dislike Fran/Frankie, so would have Cesca or Chess as a nickname. Louisa is good, too (it's my middle name, so slightly biased!) Also like Robyn, but would probably use as a mn - Francesca Robyn is cute.

From your boys' list, Benedict is definitely my favourite - 2nd choice either Jonah or Robin. Love the idea of Robin for a little boy, but not sure how well it ages - many people seem to think it sounds a bit 'wet, but there's always the nn Rob.

Debs1990 · 15/03/2013 14:14

Naomi and Tristan are my favourites. I like Theo as a nickname for Theodore.

MustafaCake · 15/03/2013 14:16

Wait till baby arrives and see which name suits him/her best!

I like Naomi and Benedict best!

GinAndSlimlinePlease · 15/03/2013 14:17

francesca
benedict
theo

mistressploppy · 15/03/2013 14:18

I like Louisa and Michael

Kyrptonite · 15/03/2013 14:19

Francesca or Theo

Still18atheart · 15/03/2013 14:20

Francesca or Theo

eatyourveg · 15/03/2013 14:23

Robyn and Jonah

ChippyMinton · 15/03/2013 14:24

Francesca
Not sure Belinda is due a revival just yet, although it could work Smile

Benedict or Michael

sununu · 15/03/2013 14:28

Francesca clearly out in front of the other girls
Theo, closely followed by Benedict

sorry, don't like Naomi, Belinda or Robyn
Tristan is awfully wimpy
if you call someone a Jonah, it means they are unlucky or a jinx - not a good association

notso · 15/03/2013 14:31

Francesca and Robyn are gorgeous girls names, I love them both, in that order. I don't know how you are with nn, if you don't like them I would choose Robyn.
Not keen on your other choices though.

I love Jonah wanted for our DC but doesn't work with our surname, Robin was our second choice for DC3, it was probably my first choice but DH got to name him as I was in shock!

I really like Theo, again sound rubbish with our surname Angry but it is much more popular than Robin and Jonah.
Not keen on the others.

HazleNutt · 15/03/2013 14:42

Louisa and Theo

BeeBopDingALing · 15/03/2013 15:18

I like all these. Not keen on the others.

Francesca (for nn I prefer Frankie to Fran)
Naomi (Favourite)
Louisa

Tristan
Theo (Favourite)
Michael

What part of the country are you in?
Different accents make names more or less attractive.

It was only when I was in the USA and they tried to pronounce my name as I do, in my local accent, that I realised it didn't sound too great! (my DM had a different accent in which it sounded much nicer)

Just thought I'd add that to furher complicate matters Grin
