according to the daily mirror, samantha is in the top 20

I don't know a single Samantha under 30, it's not talked about on here, so who are all these people calling their children Samantha?

I know four all estranged Samantha's. All around my age. One was a school friend, two ex colleagues (same workplace), and the other my exH's cousin. They are all under 30.

Maybe it's a regional thing! Definitely not in my top 20 though!

I know at least 10 people called samantha who are early 20s plus a few more of various ages. Must've been a popular name up here in the early 90s. But yeah it makes sense that it is american
