Any suggestions......I was thinking Betty but with our surname I'm not ure if it goes Betty Brophy?!

Might be a problem 2 syllable names each starting with B?

It really reminds me of Betty Boop to be honest.

If Betty was the nickname and Elizabeth the full name, I think it's lovely.

I like it, think Betsy Brophy sounds better though

I think Betty Brophy sounds excellent. Maybe call her Elizabeth so that she has options when she's older if that's a concern?
