FriggFRIGGisPoorlySick · 03/03/2013 20:35

We obviously have very different taste then strawberry because I really like them Grin

Our other DC's names are Skye (DP's choice,I wanted Matilda which is her MN) and Arlo.

OP posts:
MyThumbsHaveGoneWeird · 03/03/2013 20:38

Blythe and Idris

Btw Io and Artemis are girls names.

FriggFRIGGisPoorlySick · 03/03/2013 20:40

cookie thankyou,I appreciate the time that took! Thanks

I have also crossed a couple off,it's hard to see what's mental sometimes....I can't even blame sodding hormones Grin

OP posts:
Artichook · 03/03/2013 20:46

OK. With your other DCs names I think you need something shortish and unusual but not totally "out there". I'd avoid the very old fashioned names as they are v different from your other DCs.

I like these (given the above):
Bonnie
Hebe
Ottillee
Nell

And for boys:
Pip (if you have a long name for the birth cert, otherwise this could be a burden for an adult)
Jude
(I love Ivo but its way too close to Arlo)

Mudwiggle · 03/03/2013 20:48

If you have a DD, promise me you'll call her Scout. DH and I love this name so much, but had two DS's.

FriggFRIGGisPoorlySick · 03/03/2013 20:50

What long name could I use for pip?

OP posts:
cookielove · 03/03/2013 20:50

Frigg it was like going through a baby name book Grin

But kinda fun, dh and i are trying for our first and it gave me a few fresh ideas to throw at him, although i am sure he will say no to all of them annoying bastard

MortifiedAdams · 03/03/2013 20:52

Phillippa.
Pippa.

Please please spell it Ophelia; not Ofelia.

FriggFRIGGisPoorlySick · 03/03/2013 20:52

I love scout it's blumming awesome.
im not sure id like doubling up the girls initials though...

OP posts:
MortifiedAdams · 03/03/2013 20:52

Oops just realised Pip - you wanted boys names. So Phillip or Pippin.

FriggFRIGGisPoorlySick · 03/03/2013 20:53

Ofelia is an actual spelling...I haven't made it up!

OP posts:
FriggFRIGGisPoorlySick · 03/03/2013 20:54

Ooh,I like pippin...not sure about a grown up pippin though....I don't like Philip at all.

OP posts:
SilverBirdie · 03/03/2013 20:55

Hello frigg old Sept beadit here Grin
Love Jude and Roan and Sylvie is fab too.
Also like Ariella and Aniella and Pip is pretty ace!
We've got no.2 on the way Grin

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 03/03/2013 20:57

Can I suggest you blindly stick a pin in the list and if your reaction to the name is disappointment, then discard.

Keep going until you feel 'yay!'

SilverBirdie · 03/03/2013 20:59

Oh and we fancied Rowan for a boy which I always thought could get 'Pip' given the tree/nature link

FriggFRIGGisPoorlySick · 03/03/2013 21:02

beadit!!!! Grin

Yay! For DC2!

And I love the suggestion of Pip for Rowan, you are clever Grin

OP posts:
FriggFRIGGisPoorlySick · 03/03/2013 21:04

shipwrecked that's rather a good idea...
it's kind of what I'm doing here...I'm crossing them off the list/keeping them on,based on my reactions to other people's opinions...

OP posts:
MortifiedAdams · 03/03/2013 21:04

Tbf I know a fully grown adult Pip whos real name is Kevin. Lord only knows why he gets Pip but its to the frequency that most people dont realise its.not his actual.name and noone can remember when it first started.
