Twin girl names needed; French

As we live in France we need 2 girls names that work with the French pronunciation primarily.
So far; Florence (very easy for French) - we all agree on this and think it's a definite for twin 1.
Florence and Freya?
Florence and Fifi?
Everything else has been rejected by one of the family (we have 3 boys) and we probably have just a few days left to decide. In France you have to register the birth very quickly afterwards!

Anais and Agnes (so much prettier with a French accent)!

Pooka · 27/12/2012 22:12

Do you really want matchy names - starting with same letter?

I think you're limiting your name pool if that's what you want to do (also think is a bit of a cliche with twins, but that is entirely my personal opinion.

Florence and Juliet?
Florence and Isabel?
Florence and Matilda? or french version

Busyoldfool · 27/12/2012 22:14

Also like Beatrice and Genevieve and Agnes when said in French, (although less so in English)

Busyoldfool · 27/12/2012 22:15

Oh, and LOVE Juliette. ( Had a good friend called Juliette who lived in France)

Anaïs & Elodie

LynetteScavo · 27/12/2012 22:17

Fifi sounds like a nn for Florence.

I adore Genevieve, and think it goes really with Florence.

Sophia/Sophie?

Clara?

Yseult.

Oceane.

HenriettaTurkey · 27/12/2012 22:18

That's meant to say Anais...but the umlaut made it look terrible!

So Anais and Elodie

Gugglebum · 27/12/2012 22:19

Oh not Genevieve. It hasn't got good connotations after Genevieve whatserface of beauty pageant infamy.

Francesca is also tricky for Frenchies. Felicite is nice, as are Beatruce and Amelie.

Recent arrivals in our circle:

Clementine
Diane
Alice
Perrine
Constance
Catherine
Sophie
Anais

fraktion · 27/12/2012 22:39

Ooh we had Melisande on our list for a girl.
