Thanks for the suggestions. Marley is a girl. I seem to have looked at everything 100 times over and nothing is taking my fancy. Dh likes Georgia, Tilly, Millie and Elsie but i can't say i am taken with any of them to be honest. I want something slightly unusual but not totally weird.

to be honest marley is an exeption, i don't normally like unisex names. On our list we have had georgia (dh's choice - but i don't like it), Macy (sounds too much like maisy), Harper-Willow (Love but Harper is getting very popular cos of beckhams!! We thought of Betsy Blue last night, what are your thoughts on that?

itshammeredtime · 16/12/2012 16:47

Georgia is a nice name. Macy is nice but not maisie. Harper and willow are nice but maybe not together, and no to betsy blue. (imho)

What about
Hadley
Nancy
Nina
Francis (Frankie)
Loveday

mamaLou13 · 16/12/2012 20:48

Loveday? Is that a name? No don't like any of those, Hadley is not too bad but sounds like a boys name. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Will a decent name ever come to us?

BOFingSanta · 16/12/2012 20:51

Betsy-Blue sounds a bit like a pet's name to me, I couldn't use it other than as a nickname. But it's your call, obviously. I like Georgia myself.

BOFingSanta · 16/12/2012 20:52

Willow is nice, and unusual, but I'm not sure why you'd want to pair it with anything else? I agree that Harper is too slebby to use.

itshammeredtime · 16/12/2012 20:55

yup, Loveday is a cornish name.

daisydoodoo · 16/12/2012 20:56

My friend has a Marley although there's is a boy. His sisters are India and Sydney.
